Same deal as the last one with obviously computer-made blocky figures with slick as hell motion, and some nice transitions in between.
This type of thing is my holy grail, incredible motion combined with visuals that aren’t ashamed to be made on computer.
This guy goes full-on Richard Williams with his animation, it’s amazing how fluid it is - you might recognize his style from a dancing Google Doodle a while back.
A friend just made this in response to the video I just posted — presenting “The Critic Watches Lost Lander - Wonderful World”.
The audio is pulled from “The Critic”, Mel Brooks’ first film - a hilarious short.
Almost a little videogamey - dig it quite a bit. This is a rare animation where an old-days style glitchy movement & look has been put on and it doesn’t bother me. Usually it’s executed pretty poorly - but they really pulled it off here.
Incredible design with only the most basic of animation, but strikes such a distinct mood.
Animade! These guys are doing some awesome work lately.
